Cartography

These maps were created for the European Landscape and Leisure project, an initiative by the Dutch Advisor on Landscape involving a number of universities across Europe. The cartographic representation of landscapes, tourism and leisure in the central belt of Scotland are portrayed, in addition to other land uses such as agriculture, infrastructure, and urbanisations. Historical and contextual information such as geology, extinct forestry lines and locations of second homes are also mapped to create a comprehensive analysis of the area.
